About Us

Founded in 1903 with just 20 members, FMBC has a deep legacy of faith in Uniontown. In 2014, God moved in incredible ways to bless the church with a new sanctuary through the help of the Volunteer Christian Builders.

Four Things God Wants You To Know

1. YOU NEED TO BE SAVED. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Romans 3:23, John 3:3

2. YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF. A man is not justified by the works of the law. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” Galatians 2:26, John 14:6

3. JESUS HAS ALREADY PROVIDED FOR YOUR SALVATION. For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God. I Peter 3:18

4. YOU CAN BE SAVED TODAY. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. II Corinthians 6:2, Romans 10:9

Pastor Marty Dewitt has served First Missionary Baptist Church since 2002, alongside his wife Rhonda. Together they’ve witnessed incredible growth, including the construction of a new sanctuary.

It’s in the name. As a Missionary Baptist church, we love loving on those in need. Whether it be local or halfway across the world, FMBC has a heart for helping others. Our Missions Board meets every month to discuss the needs of the community and church. Currently our church supports the following missions:
